The collection contains Davidson family correspondence, including that of Abigail Porter Davidson, David M. Davidson, and their grandson, Mark Davidson. There are some letters to Alice Davidson. Among Abigail Porter Davidson’s letters are those to her brother Isaac and David’s brothers, James and William. Mark Davidson’s letters are those he wrote home during World War I. He was stationed in Mississippi before being deployed to France. After a short time in France, he was wounded and spent the rest of the war in military hospitals overseas and in the United States. Once released from the hospital, he wrote from an Agricultural School. Also included are a scrapbook of Abigail Melissa Davidson and programs and announcements.
