The collection includes the contents of four scrapbooks documenting Robert C. Baltzell’s career, particularly as a federal judge presiding over murder, bootlegging, and other cases, including the murder trial of George W. Barrett for killing an FBI agent (1935-1936). Also included is a notebook listing his cases with names of jurors and trial outcomes (1932-1935).
