Scope and Contents
This collection includes a signed, autographed letter from Josephine Niles in Indianapolis, Indiana to her cousin Marietta in New York and a portion of poetry, "Curfew Shall Not Ring Tonight," written by the poet, Rose Hartwick Thorpe in Mishawaka, Indiana ranging from 1845 to 1880 regarding life in school and dealing with difficulties.
