The original artwork was created between circa 1830 to 1934, while the prints were created later. Identified subjects in the portraits are as follows: composer Stephen Collins Foster (2 different paintings), Dr. Mary Angela Spink, architect Ithiel Town, entrepreneur Hugh J. Scope and Contents This collection includes personal and publicized writings, scrapbooks, clippings and photographs from Robert K. Kyle ranging from 1900 to 1978. It also contains correspondence from his time working as a newspaper editor at the Indianapolis Star and chair of the Department of Conservation for the State of Indiana.
