Scope and Contents This collection contains a copy of a typewritten letter sent from Canoga Park, California by Gertrude Butcher and addressed to "Dear Barbara." The recipient of the letter was most likely Barbara Sheehe Hanson, the great-granddaughter of Jennie Brown Doremus Dilworth. In the letter, Gertude Butcher shares genealogical information regarding the Brown and Doremus family. There are also brief mentions of the Campbell, McCreary and Hatton families.
