Scope and Contents This collection contains 6 audio cassette tapes and transcripts of interviews with hostesses at the James Whitcomb Riley Home in Greenfield, Indiana, including Lucinda Jean Arthur, Charlotte Barnett, Elizabeth Gappen, Edna Jacobs, Dorothy June WIlliams, and Ruth Williamson. Interviews were conducted by local teacher Carol Cummings during June-July 1987.
