This collection contains a letter from Andy Adams in Colorado Springs, Colorado to “my dear boy” on January 28, 1912 regarding Jesse Chisholm and the Chisholm Trail. Adams states that the irony of naming the trail after Chisholm was that he never used that trail to herd cattle.
