Scope and Contents The collection primarily consists of the correspondence and genealogy of the Gapen, Moore, and Davis families. Topics covered within the collection include family matters, person dealings, business and retail matters, and the U.S. Civil War (Henry C. Gapen – 5th Indiana Cavalry, Charles D.
