The oldest document is an indenture made February 19, 1818 between Samuel Lindley and William Hobbs. A newspaper article dated January 16, 1914 has the headline, "Old Documents, A Letter One Hundred Years Old Still in the Possession of E. Hicks Trueblood -- The Most Remote Ancestors." The letter mentions Nathan Trueblood who was the great-grandfather of Noble. The article also reprinted the will of John Trueblood, dated May 7, 1692.
