Scope and Contents The collection primarily consists of papers about the Claypool Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1947 to 1967 when the hotel was managed by W. Bryan Karr, and the hotel was affiliated with the National Hotel Company of Galveston, Texas. Included in the collection is Karr’s correspondence with the National Hotel Company staff regarding hotel finances, auditing procedures, supplies, and construction work. Scope and Contents This collection includes personal and publicized writings, scrapbooks, clippings and photographs from Robert K. Kyle ranging from 1900 to 1978. It also contains correspondence from his time working as a newspaper editor at the Indianapolis Star and chair of the Department of Conservation for the State of Indiana.

There are also blueprints for the home of Robert K. Kyle and an Indianapolis Press Club award from 1974 (OBC090).

Scope and Contents This collection includes a black-and-white panoramic photograph taken from the top of a building at the intersection of Washington and Illinois streets with a view looking east down Washington Street and mainly south on Illinois Street in Indianapolis circa 1920-1940. Architect Edward D. Pierre's name is handwritten on the back.
