Scope and Contents The collection consists primarily of Daniel D. Pratt’s legal and political papers from the period 1831 to 1877. Scope and Contents This collection includes 23 letters from Williamson Wright in Logansport and Indianapolis, Indiana, ranging from 1837 to 1865, including business correspondence from Wright's legal business, concerning his cases on Indian claims, roads, railroads, canals and canal lands; political correspondence regarding issues before the Indiana General Assembly, as well as Whig and Republican Party politics; and correspondence about his involvement with railroad companies.
