Scope and Contents This collection consists of photocopies of Civil War records from the National Archives. These records specifically relate to the military service of Jacob Snider and provide support of the claim of Alfred Miller, guardian, for benefits for Jacob Snider’s minor children, under provisions of an act of Congress (approved July 14, 1862) granting pensions to children of deceased veterans.
