Scope and Contents This collection includes Volunteer Descriptive Lists and Account of Pay and Clothing forms for volunteers enlisted in the 50th, 83rd, 93rd, 97th or 100th Indiana Regiment. The majority of forms are for the 97th regiment. The forms include information on the volunteers name, rank, unit, hometown, occupation, physical description, muster information, pay information and clothing allotment.

Homer S. Woodworth letter

Scope and Contents This collection includes a July 2, 1863 letter written by Homer Woodworth and sent to his cousin Arvilla Reeves at Nettle Lake, Williams County, Ohio. Woodworth, a private in the 100th Indiana Regiment, wrote the letter while "encamped at Haines Bluffs on the Yazoo River about six miles from Vicksburg" during the siege of Vicksburg. Scope and Contents This collection contains a transcript of an original letter from Jacob Stoler to his mother. Stoler was located in College Hill, Mississippi at the time.
