Scope and Contents This collection includes the minutes of the October 13, 1899 meeting of the Alton (Indiana) Woman's Christian Temperance Union (W.C.T.U.) held at the Methodist Episcopal church. The women who attended were Mrs. Riddle, Mrs. Brooks, Susan Roberts, Mary Rohl, Cora Parr, and Katie Wilson. The brief handwritten minutes were recorded on Peckinpaugh, Harrison and Co. letterhead.

Scope and Contents This collection contains transcripts of oral history interviews with residents of Irvington, once a town in Marion County, and now a neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, ranging from 1978 to 1987. The interviews were conducted primarily by Lois Leamon and others for Indianapolis Public Library, Hilton U. Brown Branch's Irvington Oral History Project. The transcripts include historical information about the town-cum-neighborhood and the people who lived there.

Scope and Contents This collection includes letters and papers from Walter S. Lemmon dating from 1884 to 1945 with the bulk of the material being from Lemmon's army service during World War I. There are letters to his family from camp, discharge papers, and a souvenir booklet of Camp McArthur in Waco, Texas. There are also family and school papers, as well as World War II ration books and records.

Scope and Contents This collection includes a scrapbook, an envelope of cancelled checks, and six handwritten notes from a local union of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union (WCTU) in Thorntown, Indiaan, ranging from 1885 to 1892. The scrapbook contains newspaper clippings related to the temperance movement as well as handwritten minutes for various meetings held by the WCTU. The notes relate to insurance payments to the fire company as well as lists of different office expenses.
