This is the three-page typed retirement speech given by Arthur B. Carr on June 1, 1942, at the Athletic Club luncheon upon his retirement from 16 years as director of the Indianapolis Children’s Museum. There is also a one-page statement by Miss Faye Henley, Secretary of the Board of Trustees. Miss Henley’s typed statement has no date but it is assumed the paper was read at the same June 1, 1942 retirement lunch at the Indianapolis Athletic Club.
