Scope and Contents This collection includes tintype, daguerreotype, ambrotype, and carte de visite portrait photographs of numerous individuals from Indiana ranging from circa 1840 to 1876 regarding Union soldiers who served during the U.S. Civil War and a few men and women who settled in the state during the mid-19th century.
