Northport and Mars Hill Gravel Company (Marion County, Ind.)

Scope and Contents The collection consists principally of records of the Mars Hill and Indianapolis Gravel Road Company and the Bluff Creek Gravel Road Company, for both of which Hines served as an officer. Included are the companies' articles of association, minutes of meetings, correspondence, receipts, accounts, contracts, and officer election results (1861-1871). Also included are receipts and accounts for Hines' personal and family expenses.
